Juaquin Iglesias’ football career began at Killeen High School in his hometown of Killeen, TX. He was a two sport star in football and basketball. In his senior year at Kileen, he scored 10 touchdowns and earned first team all district honors. Iglesias accepted a scholarship to play college football at the University of Oklahoma. He emerged as a standout his freshman season, catching his first touchdown pass as a Sooner for a victory in a double overtime game versus the Baylor Bears. During his sophomore season, Iglesias led his team in catches and yards at the 2007 Fiesta Bowl. After successful junior and senior campaigns, Iglesias entered the NFL draft and was chosen as the 99th overall pick in the third round by the Chicago Bears where he continues his career as a receiver. |
