Hall grew up playing football in the Atlanta area at Wesleyan School in Norcross, Georgia. He was a four-year letterman in football, basketball, and baseball. He excelled in football and earned a scholarship to play at the prestigious Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he was a three year letterman (2005-2007). During his junior campaign he rushed for 784 yards on 155 attempts and scored six touchdowns. But it was during his senior season that Hall really burst onto the scene. Hall hauled in 50 receptions for 524 yards. He also nearly doubled his rushing totals from the season before, and tripled his rushing touchdowns when he ran for 1478 yards on 230 carries with fifteen rushing touchdowns. He also never fumbled during his career with the Falcons. Halls’s signature game was on November 10th, 2008 against Notre Dame when he rushed for 132 yards on 32 carries, he also caught two passes for 31 yards and returned three kickoffs for 99 yards. By himself, Hall amassed 272 all-purpose yards in the Falcons win over the Irish. Hall was the only player in the country to lead his team in rushing and receiving during his senior season. He finished his senior season with 1,478 yards rushing, 524 yards receiving and 2, 683 all-purpose yards (good for third in the country) and 16 touchdowns. In 2008 Hall left to fulfill his duty as a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force. After fulfilling his duty, Chad worked out for several NFL teams at the University of Utah’s pro day and was signed to a three year deal by the Philadelphia Eagles. |
