K. Scott is from Chiefland, Fl. A Graduate of Florida State University and a member of the FSU football team. He was three times All-Acc academic honor roll. He was voted a permanent team captain along with Derrick Brooks of the Tampa Bay Bucaneers and Zach Crockett of the Oakland Raiders during his senior year. He also earned his masters degree hile still playing football.

He was a Junior on Florida State's National Championship Team. During the awards banquet the speaker said , “...I have something to else to add, I know we've got Charlie Ward, Derrick Brooks, and Warrick Dunn but this young man was the real reason we won the National Championship....his halftime speech and call for the team to come together was the real reason we won..." - Matt Frier Team Captain

The next year along with being voted one of three permanent team captains by his teammates he would go on to become a key spokesman for Florida State Football team. He went on to speak at the Sugar bowl Breafast Luncheon, Quartback Clubs, FCA's, Team Speeches. Coach Bowden along with the coaching staff chose him to give the Captains Address at the Annual Awards Banquet. The coaches led an unprecendented standing ovation. One of the staff members said that it was the best speech that she had heard in 17 years at FSU. People would talk about that speech for years to come. The Team Chaplin said that he was the single most respected players to ever play at Florida State by his teammates and coaches.

In one year I went from meeting the President of the United States in the White House, sharing the stage with two hiesman trophy winners, Coaches Bobby Bowden and Steve Spurrier, being voted team captain by my teammates, being a 1st generation degree earner, enrolled in graduate school to the next year being kicked out of school, sleeping in my car, and searching for work at day labor agencies with addicts on the streets. Needless to say I was at the lowest point in my life. Thats when I began to indulge my self in self help. I started with the Bible. Then I began to read other books like Acres of Diamonds, by Russell Cronwell, The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peal, Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill, Sucess the Glen Bland Method, See You at the Top, Zig Ziglar, Live Your Dreams, Les Brown, As a man thinketh, James Allen , etc. I also listen to tapes /CD's of people like Tony Robbins, Wayne Dwyer, Brian Tracey, Deepok Chopra, Mark Victor Hansen & Jack Canfield, etc.... after thousands of hours and hours of study I began to see that each person is the master of his fate...you decide what you'll become..it's up to you.... Now my mission is to share my life stories with others so that they can pull themselves from the quicksands of despair, hopelessness, and misery to the mountains of triumph and success.
