As you probably know, Drew Pearson made a name for himself in the NFL playing for the Dallas Cowboys. What you probably didn’t know was the many titles he held. Titles like: Company President, CEO, Board Member, Author, National Broadcaster, and Head Coach. But that’s not all - the once unsigned free agent used his desire, determination, and heart to go from being an undrafted free agent in 1973 to a star on a team of stars – the Dallas Cowboys.

Known around the NFL as “Mr. Clutch” for his numerous catches in game-winning situations, Drew contributed to many great moments in Dallas Cowboys history. In 11 years with the Cowboys Drew rose from an undrafted free agent to an All-Pro, establishing team records in receptions and receiving yards. After three Super Bowls, three All Pro titles, and three Pro Bowls he retired from football and worked as a national sportscaster. He is founder and CEO of a successful business that manufactures licensed headgear for professional and collegiate sports.

A college quarterback turned flanker, he caught 55 passes for 1,119 yards, six touchdowns and had a 20.3 yard average per catch in his career. As a senior, he led the Golden Hurricane with 33 receptions for 690 yards and three touchdowns. Caught 22 passes for 429 yards and three touchdowns his junior season. He started four games at quarterback as a sophomore before moving to receiver prior to the 1971 season and later went on to play for the Dallas Cowboys where he had 489 receptions for 7,822 yards. Drew was selected to the All-Pro team three years, the NFL 1970s All-Decade team and played on three Super Bowl teams.

Like some of his former teammates, Drew focused on translating his success from the gridiron to success in the field of business.
