Will Paris

William H. Paris Jr. is better know as " Bubba" Paris. He hails from Louisville, Kentucky, where he attended DeSales High School and was team captain and MVP.

He attended the University of Michigan where he played for Bo Schembechler. While playing for Michigan, they won two big Ten titles, One Rose Bow Championship and a Blue Bonnet Bowl Championship.

He was a four-year letterman, an All-American, two time All-American, Academic All-Big Ten and Academic All-District. He also played in two college All-star games: the Japan and Hula Bowls. At Michigan, he studied how structures and/or subcultures affect people's behavior and development.

In 1982, he was the San Francisco Forty-niner's first draft choice. He played with them for nine years; eight of which he started at left tackle. In those nine years, they won three Super Bowl Championships, eight Western Division Titles and played in five NFC Championship games. They were know as the team of the decade! Also, he was the players' union representative for five years.

In the beginning of the 1992 football season, he signed with the Indianapolis Colts as a free agent. He played there for thirteen games. The Detroit Lions were desecrated by injuries on the offensive line so they signed him to a contract to help shore up their offensive line and teach a young team how to stay focused and win in the the post season. They won the Central Divisional Title and played in the NFC Championship.

In 1982, he formed Paris Enterprises, a marketing and promotional firm. It specialized in creating marketing plans, creating and placing media, implementing promotional activities and motivational speaking.

Paris Enterprises focused on human resources and specialized in motivational speaking, education seminars, self-esteem workshops, promotional appearances and auctioning.

Bubba has distinguished himself as one of the this nation's premier speakers. He as addressed groups ranging from IBM executives to San Quentin Prison inmates, from Little League Teams to the California State Assembly, from groups as small as two or as large as five thousand.

He is presently making extensive television appearances. He served as sports analyst for Channel 7 TV San Francisco. He has CO-hosted a weekly live talk show on KNBR radio. He also had a segment on 1050 The Ticket Radio. He produced a special segment called "Behind the Face Mask." He has anchored sports. He is Currently a special segment reporter and a producer of sports features entitle "Heart of a Champion." He is a sideline reporter for CBS covering 49ers pre-season football and CO-hosted the 49er preview show for KPIX Channel 5.

He founded Bubba Paris Friends of the Homeless, a nonprofit organization to aide and assist the homeless in the Bay Area. He is also President and founder of Champions with Christ Crusade Ministries.

He is a poet and ordained minister serving as an evangelist.
