Prior to his NFL career, Hornung was an All-American Football Player at the University of Notre Dame where his charismatic personality earned him the nickname “The Golden Boy” and his play on the field earned him the Heisman Trophy. To this date, Hornung is the only player to ever win the Heisman Trophy while playing for a team with a losing record. Hornung is now the executive producer and host of the Paul Hornung Sports Showcase, a national one-hour cable television program on Sports Channel America.

the motto Paul Hornung lived by throughout his National Football League career
with
the Green Bay Packers. Hornung, the first pick of the 1957 NFL draft, won
four world championships and two league most valuable player awards in his
eleven
year career with the Packers. In 1986 he was inducted into the Pro Football
Hall of Fame.
